While beautiful enough to hang on your wall, our rag rugs are sturdy enough for years of use on your floor as an area or accent rug. The uniqueness of each rug is ensured by the fact that the weft is made of rag remaindered fabric, usually with only enough to make a handful of similar pieces. While some rugs are a simple tabby weave, others employ an overweave technique that highlights vertical and horizontal stripes in the warp. Both look fantastic on hardwood floors and as accent pieces on carpeted areas. We keep several on our walls at home to bring texture and color to our decorating style.
Our pieces vary in size from 26" to 36" in length and is made of cotton blends with fabric remnants. Each rug is handknotted to finish the fringe complete the rustic look of the piece.
